I remember this song being so cool and wanting to be that little white girl. Oh the 90’s
Boom! This is what everyone should read in the morning.
So I have all my best thoughts in the shower. The downfall to this is not being able to remember all these nuggets of gold. Luckily I remembered one revelation I had recently. Our society is being destroyed and improved with technology. Improved obviously because it is making our lives easier and faster… but is this always a good thing? I believe it is both. With everything becoming so fast paced and always changing I think it is making all of our attention spans shorter. And in turn making our commitment shorter. For example in relationships when things get slow or boring people bail, which I believe is contributing to the divorce rate increase. When things get rough people begin to wander (not everyone- but the ones who jump from partner to partner).
In my images of women in literature class we read a couple’s work for valentine’s day and their love they talk about is inspiring. I crave a love like theirs. They are a married couple who put each other above everyone else even their children. (which did cause controversy for AYELET WALDMAN)

Michael Chabon talks about how his wife is a woman of great power and importance. I loved it because he compared her to a powerful woman he admired and respected.
Ayelet Walman talks about how she loves her husband more than her kids and how it makes her a “bad mother” she doesnt believe that but according to societies standards she is seen that way.
